It will take over Norman’s Cafe during London Fashion Week as part of its new series of events, ‘Burbery Streets’, which will start in London and travel around the world to destinations such as Seoul and Shanghai to “celebrate the art of discovery”.
We now see fashion and gastronomy meetings much more frequently as part of brand stretching strategies. Prada’s restaurant in Milan and Gucci Osteria, which has spread to many cities, are among these examples. Burberry, on the other hand, comes together with Norman’s Cafe, the creator of the high-aesthetic breakfasts that appear on our Instagram pages, with a different perspective. During this period, a traveling Norman food truck, decked out in Burberry’s signature prints, will be hitting locations across London. In the project, which aims to combine heritage with the future and examine what luxury means in 2023, an English breakfast with ‘sunny side up’ eggs and ‘bacon’ will be served in these mobile trucks. Norman’s space will also get the Burberry treatment; its walls will showcase brand signatures like this season’s knight blue plaid, a distinctive rose print and imagined vintage style. In summary, you can start the fashion season this year by filling your stomach with Burberry!
