ANTITERRORISM OPERATION IN KARABAKH
Later in the operation, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense announced that more than 60 military positions in Karabakh were under the control of Azerbaijani soldiers.
In recent days, the so-called regime has carried out a series of provocations such as getting closer to the positions of the Azerbaijani army in the lands under its control, digging trenches to reinforce its own positions, different fortification activities, and sabotage attempts.
Armenian armed groups have continued to systematically open fire on Azerbaijani army positions and lay mines in the past few months.
Despite the demands from Azerbaijan for the dissolution of the so-called regime, the so-called “presidential election” held on September 9 in the lands controlled by Armenian forces further increased the tension.
